My first experience with the Macintosh was at Al
Collins Graphic Design school. I vowed not to be
a hacker like my computer programmer
husband. But after learning several graphic
programs, I was hooked.
This cat was first created on my drawing
board using a 0.30 technical pen. I scanned
the image with the Apple Scanner (saved
at 300 dpi).
I “cleaned up” the image in SuperPaint 2.0 and used the image as a template in
Adobe Illustrator 88. For special
effects, I
experimented
with Illustrator’s shading options.
